Scripts By Warren Website and custom writing
I have had the honor of performing in a couple of plays Warren has written (Crossing The River; Life, Death & Two Strips of Bacon), both to standing room only crowds. So all you who want to do a great production with a small budget and big hearts you need to check this out
Marc Allen, Murfreesboro, TN
We have our Christmas Drama scripts "taylor made" by Warren. We tell him how many actors, what size each part is to be, general idea of the plot, set, etc. He is very flexible in getting us what we desire. Another thing is that Warren's scripts are written with real life circumsatnce in view so are very relevant!
Michael Bender, Pastor at Mottville Bible Church, Mottville, MI
I had no problem downloading the script. Last year we did The Sun has Risen and people loved it! For Christmas we made a nice cantata with The Betlehem Story and it was magical, people were really touched and I think God was pleased. I will let you know how everything turns with A Life Worth Living, I know it's a challenge but I trust that God will make a way.
Helen Mora, First Baptist Church, Limon, Costa Rica
Just had to share this great news with you. All participants in the play that you wrote for us have read it and love it! All the characters fit each person's personalities wonderfully. It's like you knew them! Isn't that a true blessing! We are going to have a wonderful time with your play. Thanks again!
Darlene Coffey, Bean Station, TN
Our church has used your dramas exclusively for many years now. Thank you for continuing to turn out quality scripts for this important ministry that is well attended by the community and a real church outreach. People have gotten used to making this a part of their Christmas (they ask about it) and nice to get the message of salvation out to those who do not know Him.
David C. Fahrner, Faith Bible Chapel, Millerton, NY
I always love your scripts. My Sunday school children also love to read and act on your scripts. Last Christmas, we played on the script, "More Bless to Give." We really enjoyed it. I see that you always try to deliver an important message with your scripts to people. That's one of reasons that I really like your scripts. Please keep it up! I wish you a very best success on your writing. You are awesome! Jesus Loves You!
Daeryong Seo, All Nations Church, San Antonio, TX
Please know that this is our 4th year using your scripts. The youth really enjoy performing and our audience is always crowded. May God continue to bless you and your ministry.
Gladys Grant, Grant Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Rembert, SC
Your site is great. I just discovered it and everything was so easy. As soon as I ordered I noticed the link to download the script! And then to get this quick follow up email is so impressive. Working in customer service myself I find this type of service to be rare. Thank you so much! I am hoping to use your script.
May God richly bless your business and give you the desires of your heart!
Crystal Chappell, Clearbranch United Methodist, Argo, AL
I saved the scripts to my computer. My plan is to use them with our Sr. High Sunday School class. I am investigating using drama as a method to not only teach biblical truths but as a way to help the students feel more comfortable about sharing their faith.
Katherine Powers, Springfield, VA
Your scripts are great! And I really like your approach to selling them. The cost is very reasonable and the immediate access to a PDF is fantastic. Thanks!
Best regards,
Tom Buel, Lighthouse Bible Church, Simi Valley, CA
I wanted to thank you so much for letting God use your talents this way. I know a good deal of people who can write scripts, perform skits, or be a setup crew, but don't because they can't find the courage to step out of their comfort zone and do God's will. You obviously have a great gift, and I love that you are using it for Christ.
Amy Powell, First General Baptist Church of Heber Springs, Heber Springs, AR
I am very happy with your website - everything downloaded just fine. I am the drama director at our church and am ALWAYS looking for new material. This was the first time I ever found this website and I thought that a lot of the scripts were newer and fresher than most things I can find online. Thanks again for helping to make my job easier!
Lori Stoltzfus, Keystone Evangelical Free Church, Paradise, PA
I really believe that God answered my prayer by finding your website! I am sure you hear this all the time and I see your humble heart, but you are truly gifted! I so enjoy your natural flow of dialog between characters! The dialog is well written and the Gospel Message and Christian character are so clearly present. Thank you for using your talents, given by God, in such a wonderful, faithful and God centered way! This truly is a blessing to so many! Thank you for your dedication to sharing your gifts and ministering to the "multitudes" of audiences and casts!
Peggy Roedell, CHOOSE Homeschool Co-op, Sequim, WA
Warren has written three custom scripts for our church so far - "Life, Death, and Two Strips of Bacon", "One Shining Moment", and "The Games People Play". In our drama ministry, it is sometimes difficult to find a play with the right amount of people to match up with those that we have available. Having Warren write a script to fit the number of people serving in this area has been a perfect solution for our church. Warren always wants our input, works with us to incorporate the theme we want to get across, and makes sure the gospel message is crystal clear. The scripts are relevant, well-written and Biblical. Our church is getting a reputation in our area for excellence in our Christmas dramas. Thanks, Warren!!
Ted Jones, Mottville Bible Church, White Pigeon, Michigan
This will be our fourth production of one of your scripts by my church. Our Christmas plays are one of our church's major outreaches and have become a tradition for many, many years. Your scripts are the latest ones we have used as I really like the wit and the solid salvation messages. Thanks for everything.
David Fahrner, Faith Bible Chapel, Pine Plains, New York
I have known Warren now for quite some time. In the initial stages the only thing we had in common was Salvation, but as time passed and we became friends it was clear that we also share a passion for drama, especially writing. We don’t like to consider ourselves Professional Playwrights who write by the books…no…we are Anointed Playwrights who follow God’s leading on each project; so expect nothing less than to be blessed by just reading one of Warren’s plays. He writes in a conversational manner, but it's easy to visualize how the characters are moving onstage just by what they are saying. He has mastered the art of writing smooth, easy dialogue that flows from one word to the next; from one character to the next; and if you truly want to raise your congregation to its feet in praise and applause you have to get a few of Warren's plays. I guarantee you no regrets.
Each year our senior high youth group puts on a dinner theater production for our church. In years past we've always gone with a lighthearted production, little on the goofy side, with some spiritual content. Not super effective, but fun to do. Last year I had decided that we needed to raise the bar, so I did some looking around and came across Warren's site. WOW!! Great scripts, great price, great messages, couldn't ask for more. If you're looking for ANY kind of dramatic performance from funny to super serious, from a cast of 1 to a cast of dozens, from a 90 second monologue, to a possible 2 hour dinner theater setting, you won't be disappointed with Scripts by Warren.
Sean Major, First Presbyterian Church, Quincy, IL
I just wanted to say that working with Warren Sager has been a real joy and privilege. His gifts of creative writing coupled with his professionalism made the entire process so wonderful. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a playwright who knows what faith in Christ is all about. Thanks to Warren, our church is putting on its very first full production in it's history.
Phil Halstead, Hope Lutheran Church, Minneapolis, MN
Warren has the ability to customize your drama plans exactly like you want them without charging you an outrageous price for it either. If you tell him what you want, he will accommodate you and tailor-make the script the way you desire. There are not many Christian drama writers who are willing to do that. Furthermore, Warren's background experience in acting in theater productions enhances his ability to "create" a theater production but designed for church attenders.

TESTIMONIALS
A Chance To Say Good-bye, I Don't Need That Jesus Stuff, and Our Marriage Is What It Is
AWESOME Warren! I was just blown away at how well you “hit the nail on the head” for what I was wanting. I want them just the way they are. Thank you so much!
Russell Noss, Dorrisville Baptist Church, Harrisburg, IL
A Female Job
Warren, thank you so much for the use of your scripts. My daughter performed "Female Job" at our state Youth Conference in early June and won first place. Time would not allow her to perform the entire script, so we had to shorten it and still made sure that the audience received the message. Everyone talked about how they felt the pain that was expressed on her face when she found out about her sickness. It was just great. I look forward to buying more of your scripts. Keep me on the mailing list. Thanks again,
Marguerite Roberson, Church of Christ-Russell Road, Shreveport, LA
A Life Worth Living (formerly "What Will You Do?")
Warren, thanks again for the work you have done. I gave your website address to other people.
Gary Pendergraff, Prattwood Assembly of God, Tulsa, OK
We presented the play "A Life Worth Living" on March 20th for Easter. Thank you for the script; we received the best comments ever! It worked for us because we have very little room to work with, so scenery must be sparse. The performers were stunned by the length of the monologues until they received techniques for learning the lines. Once they felt the story they were telling, it was easier to remember the part. We would like to do it again at some later date. It helped me too to understand the significance of Jesus' sacrifice for us. I knew the story but it has to touch your heart in order for you to really understand.
Imogene Bynum, First Baptist Church of Highland Park, Bowie, MD
A Soldier's Christmas
I love your scripts!! We did "A Soldier's Christmas" two years ago. Many people were saved at that performance. I changed it at the end a little bit to show a great homecoming and had all the families meet the other ones, we also put into the play a lot of songs (we have a lot of singers in the group).. But I sent you info on that..just wanted to let you know this is ME again..buying a couple more scripts this year!! When things are God-Breathed, He is lifted up. You always mention the gospel and show real life situations. This is your talent from God; you glory Him... yes, it will be used as long as you don't change your message! Thanks again, your ministry is WONDERFUL!
Tammie Arnim, Bothell, WA
Abigail & Martha; Betsy Ross; Our Flag Was Still There; and The Vote
Thank you so much. I think the 3rd and 4th graders (and their families) are going to LOVE these plays. I will recommend your site to all of my homeschool friends! Yours was the best site by far! The best $25.00 I ever spent! If I need anything for church or homeschool cooperative in the future, I will check your site FIRST!
Barbara Monroe, Families United Network (F.U.N.) Academy (Homeschool Cooperative), Galloway Twp, NJ
An Old Box Of Cards
Our church put on the play "An Old Box of Cards" this past Christmas and we had so many compliments! Some said it was the best play that we have done. Thanks so much! God has blessed you with a great talent. Keep working for the Lord and as we know He will keep blessing.
Roxie Whitted, Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church, Miamisburg, Ohio
Angel At Sunrise
I can't thank you enough for writing the perfect script for ME! This year's Easter Sunrise was absolutely the most beautiful I have ever seen. We gathered around the crosses in front of the church. The sunrise was spectacular! I sat on a "rock" with the sun behind me. My wings and costume were shimmering. The congregation was definitely moved by the monologue. I saw many tears. Even me. I cried every time I rehearsed. Overall, I have only heard positive comments. Thank you for the time, effort, and price break to make "Angel at Sunrise". I hope you are as proud of it as I am.
Marti B, Paola, KS
But It's My Money!
Thank you so much for sending me this script. I started reading and couldn’t put it down until I had finished the whole script. I can hardly wait until I pick a couple from our church to do the performance, this is great material. Again, thank you for this wonderful script, I love it and there is so much truth in the script as far as some church people goes. May God Bless and Keep You.
Audrey Maltie-Brown, Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, Houston, TX
Warren, this script is most excellent!!!! My congrats to you for coming up with something that is not only funny but on point and in the spirit. I am very happy with it. Once again, this was exactly the type of thing I was looking for.
Matthew O'Donohue, Bakersfield, CA http://www.wecollect.com
Calvary
I had been looking for a script just like Calvary and couldn't find anything written that well or for such a good price!
Crystal Chappell, Clearbranch United Methodist, Argo, AL
Can You See The Angels?
Excellent!!! This is wonderful – thank you for all your work – I was in tears at the end of the script! Please pray that the Lord uses it in a mighty way on Dec. 26th ! Thanks again –
Michael Perham, Pastor of Vision Baptist Church, Goodyear, AZ
Carry The Cross
I now have two of your scripts "in production". "Poor Richard" is being done by a group of 8-12th graders. "Carry The Cross" is being done by a group of 4-7th graders. Please pray that God's will is done in both productions. These are homeschool theater groups and already "Carry The Cross" has made an impression! Thank you for your ministry.
Kathy Johnson, Dotham, AL
Christmas At The Murphy's
"Christmas at the Murphy's" was a hit. Everyone enjoyed the play, and the ending was a little more in depth than traditional Christmas plays, so that made it even better. We had our construction types come in and build the set and it looked great. Thanks again. We're having a Valentine's Day dinner for couples and we're doing the "Soup of the Day" skit.
Dr. Danny Evans, Assistant Principal, South Hall Middle School, Gainesville, GA
I wanted to let you know that the play was a success. Not only did I direct it, but I ended up playing the part of Velma due to a cast member dropping out! It was a lot of hard work, yet a lot of fun and very rewarding. Thanks for being a creative part of the kingdom. Keep on writing!
Kelly Smith, The Church of Jesus, Piqua, OH
We put on your play and it was a huge success!!! I played the part of Velma and had so much fun with it. It was great to be able to put folks of varying ages into the program. People who had never really participated in anything in church got involved in the play. We now have a closer relationship with each other, in addition to our mutual relationships with God. Thank you for sharing your talent and giving us a great experience.
Cathy Willis, Calvary Worship Center, London, KY
We presented “Christmas at the Murphy’s” and it was fabulous. The script had wonderful humor to it, good characterization, and a very good (and followable) story line. People enjoyed themselves immensely and we heard many good comments – the kind that let us know that we achieved our objective of giving people a positive exposure to church and to Christ. The gospel message was very well woven into the story: not preachy but also to the point. As a cast (and me as director), many of us had a difficult time when “Grandma” was giving her lines as we were so moved and impacted at how God’s Spirit was moving at that moment (as He had been moving during the entire evening), speaking to the hearts of friends and family that we had brought. Eternity will tell of its true impact, but we were pleased with how it went.
Darren Driedger, Morden Alliance Church, Morden, Manitoba, Canada
We performed “Christmas at the Murphy's” this Christmas. It was hilarious!! Everyone enjoyed the production so much. Thank you. Also, we added a small part at the end where Scooter exits to his bedroom. We actually had him say a prayer of repentance and accepting Jesus into his heart as Lord and Savior. It worked out really well. I’m looking forward to performing more of your scripts. May God continue to bless your talent through Him.
Kathy Wilkerson, Fountain Inn Church of God, Fountain Inn, SC
Coins In A Kettle
I believe this will be wonderful lesson for teens and old alike. I am a youth leader, and I think that this play will help drive home part of a lesson that I have been trying to teach my youth. I think that by doing this play for Christmas, it will help them to realize the things they take for granted each day. God Bless,
Crystal Vest, Victory Baptist Church, Spring City, TN
Coming Home
I am writing to let you know how much "Coming Home" was enjoyed by our Sunday School on Father's Day. It was the highlight of the program. The message hit practically everyone, because we all have children like the son in the script. I appreciated the way you applied it to today's society. So many of our children are getting caught up in stuff that causes them to stray from their teachings. Thank you for writing such a wonderful script.
Veronica Green, Bakersfield, CA
Crossing The River
We performed "Crossing the River" this past Sunday night. The response was awesome! So many people have said how much they enjoyed the play. Our youth minister even said we had upped our drama ministry to a new level of excellence with this performance. I told our congregation that "Crossing" was kind of like a combination of "Our Town", "Forrest Gump", and the book of Romans! They obviously made the connection. Just wanted to let you know how well accepted this piece has been. Thanks for your writing skill and for sharing it with us! May God bless you as you continue to write for Him.
Glenda Norville, Faith Baptist Church, Bartlett, TN
"Crossing the River" was a success! This was the first year that we have performed a Christian play and the administration and staff were very pleased! They said it was the most "spiritual" play we've ever performed! It was fun, yet so meaningful with such a strong salvation message. Thank you!
Michelle Cooper, Cornerstone Christian Academy, Sycamore, IL
Davey's Christmas Adventure
We used "Davey's Christmas" and over all it went very, very well. Thank you so much for offering the script, blessings and prayers -- very cool -- no wonder it went so well. The reason why I selected the script was that it was a contemporary theme, mixed youth with adults and had some "minor" characters that I could convince even the most timid that they could handle. And most importantly - by far -- it was 10-12 minutes long. We did receive many, many kudos -- my actors/actresses were wonderful --- it was short and powerful....and it was perfect. God bless....peace :-)
Catherine Meredith, Doylestown United Methodist Church, Doylestown, PA
Finding Peace
I wanted to let you know first how much this means to my Dad. He got so emotional about this story that he must have cried four or five times. He called me right away when you e-mailed him with the script. Anyway, he couldn’t even tell me what you had written without getting all choked up. I’ve NEVER seen him respond in this way about any of the previous plays or cantatas that we have done for the last 14 years. He is deeply moved and affected by your creativity and writing and I agree with him that this drama is very realistic and should be very impacting on people’s hearts.
Later: The comments keep coming in here: overwhelming! People were SO MOVED by this drama you wrote. (moved to tears) I’m floored at the response. I underestimated the impact of your 4 star script. I’m not kidding: you could hear a pin drop the whole time. People really related to this story as something that is true to life TODAY. I was just interrupted by our secretary, who came in to relate how beautiful the drama was. And to think that you wrote this sequel in such a short amount of time is incredible and displays your superb knack for writing conversational drama and a compelling and very capturing story. And to me, you always have to work within restraints: such as timed schedules or people’s ideas or limited cast. But I guess that forces you to really center on dialogue and story which really carries good drama anyway. My Dad was moved to tears, also. It was very exciting to be a part of something so moving to the congregation.
Bill Rodebaugh, Pastor of Landmark Baptist Church, Greenville, NC
Fixing Christmas
"Fixing Christmas" demands an awesome set! We had the front of a 57 chevy on stage and a man's garage! This was one of our more effective Christmas dramas, becuase it had a powerful evangelistic message and one for believers who are dealing with the loss of loved ones. It is greatly balanced with some humor as well.
Michael Bender, Pastor at Mottville Bible Church, Mottville, MI
Founders Of Freedom
Thanks Warren, I am really, really pleased... I am very excited... This is a HUGE blessing to me. Thanks for your hard work on this. I'd like to do this again and I am also going to recommend you to several other Master's directors as a resource for program scripts and ideas......I was very happy with what you gave us to work with.

Frank and Edith sketches:
I Didn't Know You Could Sing
We performed your script at our annual choir party and it was such a big hit! Lots of laughter at all the right places, and we are still receiving comments about it. Of course, none of us knew anyone like Frank and Edith. Thank you for writing such a funny, thought provoking script that hits home in so many ways. What a wonderful ministry you have. Keep up the good work.
Linda Gibel, Palmetto, FL
We Could Have Been At The Lake
Larry and I did "We Could Have Been at the Lake" Sunday morning. Everyone absolutely loved it! Our church is so very grateful that I found you and this marvelous talent that God gave you. They can't get enough of Frank and Edith.
Carolyn Calhoun, Midway Baptist Church, West Jefferson, NC
Missionaries Are Supposed To Suffer
The script is so funny with very realistic characters! Can't wait to present it to my church! I'm sure we can all see a little of Frank or Edith in ourselves, I'm sorry to say.

Get Back On The Bus (formerly "Stop It Already" and "The Celebration")
PRAISE THE LORD!! Praise God from whom all blessings flow and it is indeed a blessing finding you on the web. I know it was no coincidence, for God is truly FAITHFUL to HIS children. I want to personally thank you for ALL YOUR HELP in writing this play. I thank GOD for sending you my way. You have made my life so much easier. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! If you ever need a reference, look me up.
Evangelist Verna Lee, Jesus The Christ Church, Stroudsburg, PA
Good Hair Day
Thanks so much for your promptness in getting the play to us and for writing it for us. The play was a big hit and it turned out great! We had 125 women for our Spring Luncheon and 14 men serving our meal and they all enjoyed it! Several asked me who wrote it...
Thanks again for writing "Good Hair Day".
Betty Finzer, Cherry Grove United Methodist Church, Cincinnati, OH
Hear The Prophets Speak
I love that you are a Christian writer and appear to believe as we do....in the blood of Jesus Christ. Your script is wonderful in that it seems simple and easy to follow, as well as being bible based. Thank you so much! This is truly a blessing, and I hope that others will be able to see Christ though it. God bless you!
Amanda Stewart, Spencer Road Baptist Church, Conover, NC
Home For Christmas
This will be our fourth production of one of your scripts by my church. The first was "Home for Christmas" which really hit home for older adults and the girl who played Amy did a wonderful job with the part and bringing out the message of salvation.
David Fahrner, Faith Bible Chapel, Pine Plains, New York
We did your Christmas script and everyone at the church loved it! It was different from what we have been doing , but everyone said it was true to life . Maybe someone who was there was effected by it. We are a small church so we had to get some other teens to help.
Michael and Teresa King, Hustleville Baptist Church, Albertville, AL
Hot Line, How Can I Help You?
Our program included many elements and talents; however; your piece was, by far, the very best part of the entire evening. The audience was laughing hysterically! The actress who played Mandy was brilliant; and it was as if the character were created just for her. THEN ... our senior pastor was so impressed that he asked if we would do it again at one of our WEEKEND services as a "plug" for our ministry!!! We couldn't be more happy with the work you created and we all admire your talent. Thank you so much for being instrumental in making our Celebration Night such a success!!!!! I hope we will have an opportunity to do this again in the future.
Loralyn Slavin, Celebrate Recovery, Frankfort, IL
How Mr. Sodd Found Christmas
Just wanted to let you know that we performed your play "How Mr. Sodd found Christmas" and it was wonderful. Thank you for writing it and I can't wait to order more scripts from you. May God continue to bless your talent and again, thank you, thank you, thank you!
Kate Starner, New Life Assembly of God, East Berlin, PA
How To Make The Mrs. Happy
We used this play in our 7th Annual Dinner Theater. We had a lot of fun putting this play together and presenting it. The audience loved it. We received many comments about it being the funniest play we've done. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. We are looking to do another one of your plays this year.
M.W., Prospect United Methodist Church, Covington, GA 30016
“A 4 star favorite! Warren has proven his ability again to custom write and to create a comedy that can be used anywhere and become a crowd pleaser. Our church performed this with the very author of it as a fellow guest cast member. Everybody that came to the play thought it was great. The way Warren has written this story allows for various options for music or musical numbers to be inserted as well as creative physical comedy routines with the written lines. The story ends with a serious dose of what love really is and a spiritual message that cannot be forgotten. Furthermore, various ages are included in this drama allowing teenagers to be part of the cast which always brings more attendance and a certain audience appeal. This play is definitely a modern day comedy but truly family friendly and a throw back to “I Love Lucy” or “Dick Van Dyke.” Warren’s diversity in writing various types of plays is endless and this comedy is ideal for any season. A play which will leave the audience laughing and enjoying themselves immensely.”
Bill Rodebaugh, Pastor, Landmark Baptist, Greenville, NC
Hudson Taylor: Called To China
Our church put on the Hudson Taylor play last night and I loved Young Hudson's clear presentation of the gospel. We're all praying that the seed takes root. I enjoyed directing your play, and I appreciate you putting these missionary stories out there. This was an excellent way to prepare all of our hearts for our mission's conference.

I Think It's Time To Pray
Hi Warren. Just wanted to let you know - we had our first practice tonight for the Thanksgiving drama & it was an amazing hit. Everyone was laughing & just loved it. It was great to see it come to life. I love the grandpa part & the guy doing it was so funny. I can't wait to actually do it in church & I'll be sure & keep you updated. You had said you don't write humor - well I'm here to tell you -yes you do - we were all rolling - especially at Chris' lines. Thanks again & God bless you & your gift of writing.
Later - Well we did the play this morning & it was a hit. Everybody really liked it & had such great comments - everybody was saying that it was so realistic & that this is how their dinners go. - thanks so much again for all your hard work & how you captured exactly how I wanted it to be. Good luck in all your writing - you are very talented. Happy holidays to you & your family.

In The Middle Of The Room (Formerly "The Best Gift")
This will be our fourth production of one of your scripts by my church. The second was "The Best Gift" (if I can use the old title). We had over 300 people see this one, our smoothest production. I liked the humor in it. We had two women in their early 30's play the college students (along with a teenager) and they were able to pull it off. Actually, they were wonderful actresses, and they caught the interaction between the sisters just right. We had more consistent laughter from the audience throughout this play than any other, especially the second act which I just loved to watch throughout rehearsals and listen to during the play. It it so sharp.
David Fahrner, Faith Bible Chapel, Pine Plains, New York
Our church performed "In the Middle of the Room" and received rave reviews. At the end, the woman playing the mother gave an alter call. From the first read through, everyone agreed that there was just a special spirit behind this play. It was well received from our congregation. This was the first play I ever directed and was very simple. We actually had to change up the characters just a bit, only use 3 college girls instead of the four, (which none of us were actually college girls, but all moms in our 30s, but we were able to pull it off!) With this play, we had a very wide age group which helped make the message of the play to the congregation more powerful. This play was truly a blessing and just the one we were looking for at our church. Thanks so much!
Ginger Cummins, Gallatin Church of God of Prophecy, Gallatin, TN
Jesus Freaks
I just had to tell you that we have just finished the play "Jesus Freaks" and it was a HIT!!! The children did a wonderful job and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. My 12-year-old asked me if we could do a sequel, "Jesus Freaks II"! Thank you for producing wonderful, and affordable, plays! Sincerely in Christ!
Susan Braun, Christian Home Educators Network, Barre, VT
Johnny Unforgettable
"We all love this play, Warren. It’s outstanding! I really think you have a masterpiece. Everybody here thinks you are a WONDERFUL WRITER. I think you, Stu, and whatever ideas I contributed produced a great combination. I think you wrote a film noir play as good as one could write for the stage. And too, to add the Christian message into it…you weaved that in very good."
"For those who like to do something different, this one is for you. Warren has the tremendous ability to create unique stories with captivating dialogue. Furthermore, this story will keep the audience on the edge of their seats trying to figure out the plot. But what makes Warren Sager unique among play-writers is his ability to supplement the story with a true salvation message. And this story has the salvation message at center stage. We performed this play at our church and the audience responded with overwhelming enthusiasm and delight. Warren is a master of writing custom-made scripts, and this ability sets him apart in the Christian play genre. Warren has written three plays for our church and this play is my personal favorite. If you are a mystery lover and would like a good detective story, purchase this. You will have great fun with your cast and your audience will love it."
Bill Rodebaugh, Pastor at Landmark Baptist Church, Greenville, NC
We performed Johnny Unforgettable. It was a great success. We are a youth group and most of the cast was teens/college age young people. We video taped the funeral scene in a funeral parlor (we happen to have a funeral director as a member of our church.) We taped "Johnny" running through a local cemetary. We also made a tape to run during the voice over leading into scene 5. We had Johnny in a clawfoot bathtub (bubbles included)"thinking" and then passing the funeral home, cemetary and a restaurant. Many comments were made to the "multimedia" we used, including the "film noir" music at certain points. Thanks for a great script!
Nancy Schuster,
Elyria, OH
I thought I would give you an update on the effects of your work in Chickamauga, Georgia. I looked over some scripts on your website and really liked this one both from a message standpoint and visually. My goal was to adapt it into a Christmas play. I simply made the setting at Christmas time ....added some visuals and music and I had what I was looking for "Johnny Unforgettable ...a Christmas Mystery". We began working on it and I had the idea of changing things up and shooting it as a movie. We began the following week to make it look like "The Maltese Falcon". We shot it very quickly and edited it and it premiered at our church. It aired 7 times to packed audiences and our reviews were wonderful. Today we learned we had 5 professions of faith from people who came to see the movie ...we are ecstatic. Thanks so much for the work you do and I hope this inspires you even more! I'm making copies...I'll send you one! Thanks so much and Merry Christmas!
Dale Forrester, Oakwood Baptist Church, Chickamauga, GA
My name is Tim Brock but I recently played "Sid" in Johnny Unforgettable at my church. I must say, I had such a great time doing that! Thanks for creating such a great play! My only regret is that it's all over now. We had 3 performances for our dinner play. A smash hit!! We, the actors had such fun rehearsing our lines, laughing at each other's errors, fine tuning our skills, and of course the three big nights! For time constraints, we video taped the beginning where Johnny staggers out of the coffin and into the night as well as where he and I meet near the cemetery. I could do that play every night for a month! Playing that part made me feel so alive! I do look forward to playing another character from a play of your imagination sometime (hopefully) soon!

It turned out to be one of the most successful and most loved plays we have done in the 15 years we have been doing plays at our Christian Academy. I will send the pics to you. Thank you for your scripts... they have saved my sanity. We did the whole thing in a black and white format. The first portion was videoed in B&W and all our sets were done in grays and black. It gave the illusion that they were watching a black and white movie. We have a lot of vintage clothing that we had also used in your Corrie Ten Boom play. That was another hit.

Jochebed's Choice
"Jochebed's Choice" is wonderfully written. It leaves room for artistic creativeness. I can see myself being able to apply it to the audience. I look forward to working on it.

Joseph's Wife
It was awesome! Everyone loved it and the kids that were involved did a wonderful job in learning and playing their roles. I think they want to do another one this year. :)
Thank you for such a wonderful script. God Bless You and your dedication and God given talents. Many are being blessed by them!
Sue Mathre, Bear Creek, WI
Our Sunday School used the drama, "Joseph's Wife" this past Christmas. We were very pleased with the drama and how it could use all our kids ranging from ages 10 - 17. They did an excellent job and blessed us all! Thanks for making your drama so available.

Life, Death and Two Strips of Bacon
I am with Act ON Ministries in Burlington and we have just done one of your plays, “Life Death and Two strips of Bacon”. The play was absolutely amazing. Personally, I think you are amazing. I have been a fan of you for a long time.

Lipstick
Great job Warren! I read it through quickly as soon as I got it. This is what I had in mind. It is light hearted and fun and clever. It's a keeper! I laughed and got into the characters. Thank you so much for all your time and thought into this. You have a gift. (a gift of "gab") I really like the way your dialog seems to flow between the characters. This really stands out in all of your plays. I appreciate all the work you have put into this. First run through, I feel happy with it! I hope others are blessed with this skit in their churches around the country.

Magnified
The message of the skit is beautiful, it’s VERY WELL WRITTEN.
As soon as we spoke the last line of the prayer in the skit, the worship began with O Magnify the Lord. Then my husband preached on how one can magnify the Lord. The whole service was centered on the skit and I must say, that it turned out quite well. Everyone in the congregation seemed to enjoy it too. Thank you so much for allowing God to use you in such a powerful and far reaching way. Keep up the good work. God bless and I'm sure we will be in contact again.

More Blessed To Give
I was able to download the script instantly from the email -which arrived SO quickly! My class and I did our first read-through and they loved it! The class is comprised of 4th-6th graders and I feel that the script is extremely appropriate. Thank you so much for everything!
Melissa Wyman, Mililani, HI
This was the best play ever! The children bought into the script and they did very good. It was easy to make changes in the play when needed (not use all the characters or change a boy's name to a girl's name or the opposite). Thank you for your prayers and we will definitely use your company when needed.
Tanya Fisher, Kingdom Builders Community Church, Houston, TX
Just a note to let you know that we performed your play. I absolutely love the clear gospel message that was conveyed and I'm sure the message was understood by those listening. The beauty of your play, besides the message, was that of its simplicity in putting it on. No costumes were required and very few props. God bless you for creating such a great play.

Nana's House
We presented the play Nana's House and IT WAS WONDERFUL!!!! We had so much fun preparing for it. Trying to explain the old television shows to the children brought back memories. It was fun creating the scene of an old fashioned living room and having the adults and children dress in that time period. I also love the simplicity of the settings and the costumes. I just want to thank you so much for always presenting such a CLEAR and simple gospel message in your plays. We wish you God's blessings as you continue to write so that the message of salvation can get out in a clear and unique way. You can be sure I will always consult your website first when looking for a play. Thank you again for providing such wonderful resources. Many people were moved to tears and greatly impacted by your message in Nana's House and the comments were wonderful.
Ellen Loos, Brick by Brick Bible Church, Buffalo, NY
I want to thank you for the "Nana's House" play, It was a big success, and the kids had such a good time working on it and getting into the 1950's . They were so excited about the costumes (poodle skirts) and trying to figure out who the Lone Ranger and the Honeymooners were. Also thanks for writing this play, it let us have some really neat discussions. Looking forward to checking out some more of your works. I am sure you will hear from me again.

Never Ending Reality Of Being There
I wanted to let you know my daughter performed "the never ending reality of being there" with another young lady for a speech and debate tournament and they won 3rd place and qualified for our regional tournament with the selection. Thanks for a great script.

No Room For Jesus
Hey, Warren. I just wanted to let you know that I did receive the script and appreciate your promptness. The cast loves the play!!! I suppose this is the message that the Lord needs us to hear this holiday season. With all that goes on during the holidays, we tend to get so wrapped up in presents, food, and even play parts we tend to forget the whole reason for the season..... our Lord Jesus Christ. The play has helped me to open my eyes a little wider on the true meaning of Christmas and hope that it does for the others involved. Thank you and God bless!!!

On Christmas Eve, The Clock Struck Twelve
The script is awesome. I absolutely love it. I've read through it and I think it's great. This is exactly what I'm looking for. You RAWK!!! Thanks again for such wonderful work.

One Shining Moment
This will be our fourth production of one of your scripts by my church. Last year we did the more serious "One Shining Moment". It really caught people off guard with Josh's death. Obviously more sober in tone, many were moved because so many have relatives or children they are estranged from. It did speak to many and good content on the true meaning of Christmas.
David Fahrner, Faith Bible Chapel, Pine Plains, New York
"One Shining Moment" is a powerful drama, a tear jerker with a message for all families. While it is not written in the script we had a casket rolled to the front of the auditorium while a PP was done on the person that just passed away. Well written!

One Woman's Faith: the Story of Esther
Let me just start off by saying GREAT job!!! My wife and I agree you've captured the essence of what we're looking for. Love the line "Mordecai the Jew?!?"...Keep up the good work! As always, thanks for your hard work and timely response
Best regards,

Picking up the Pieces
Your script is an incredible piece of work. I just hope I can do it justice. I just wanted to tell you that you do beautiful work. And I do have your site marked in my Favorites for future scripts. Thanks again.

Poor Richard
Dear Warren, EXCEPTIONAL!!! Your play was a Masterpiece!!! We've received Rave reviews!!! We perform again Sun. p.m at BVCC, one of the large churches in Boise. We did Cole Community; last Sunday for the Sr. high kids--about 100. Knocked 'em dead!!! Many, many blessings to you for your using your talents for the Lord!!! This play has made my husband a hero in my eyes, for he found you for us!!! What next, Warren? Got anything else we could do for our Christian school? My principal truly appreciates our doing Christian dramas, ones with/Christian messages/themes, so we're ready for your next one. Thanks a bushel.
Karl and Janzi, Cole Christian School, Boise, ID
Just wanted to give you a report on how your play did in our church last weekend...great success. We used it as a dinner theatre and the audience LOVED it!

Resurrection Rabbit
I just wanted you to know, the youth group at Truth Fellowship performed your play, Resurrection Rabbit. I rented a formal rabbit costume. With a mixture of high-school kids and really young kids, it was absolutely WONDERFUL. We ended up having to perform the play on Easter morning! Six accepted Jesus into their hearts that very day...and there were 7 re-dedications. The children will never forget it. May God Bless your work.
Connie Eidson, Truth Fellowship, Kingsport, TN
We are a small Church and our youth group includes 5 to 14 year old's. I was looking for something that would cover our age group and wouldn't require a lot of costumes or props. I never expected to find anything this perfect. It has a powerful meaning, it's upbeat, funny, seems fairly easy to perform, and the younger kids can have a part by just following along! It's a great play - keep up the good work! God Bless
Diane Pledger, First Wesleyan Church, Griffin, GA
The congregation loved Resurrection Rabbit!!! I had my youth department act out the play and we also discussed the meaning of the play. I was amazed at how well they understood the message. God has blessed you with a great gift; I hope you will continue to write. May God bless you and your ministry.

Save Me!
We performed your play Save Me and I just wanted to let you know that it was a HUGE success. I wrote to you asking for permission to split the receptionist part into two roles. It worked really well. The biggest laugh line turned out to be "I'm scared. I want to hold your hand." One neat thing we did at the beginning was run a short video that mimicked a TV-show opening, with some super hero theme music and each kid’s picture (in costume) floating across the screen. It was AWESOME! Anyway, just wanted to let you know that your talent brought a lot of joy to my Acting Up children's drama ministry and to a whole congregation. I just happened upon your site one day and I don't even remember how I found it, but it must have been a God Thing! Thanks so much!
Karen Schootman, Sunrise United Methodist Church, O Fallon, MO
Second Chances
I would like to thank you for your play “Second Chances”! We did the program and we received lots of positive feedback. It was different than the regular nativity, and with a different meaning. I actually translated the script into Spanish being our church is Spanish speaking. It was so worth it! Thank you!
Eloiza Hernandez, Templo Dios de Amor, Ligonier, IN
The play was quite successful. I was very pleased how it turned out. I got a number of positive responses. After the play, one person told me that he was emotionally struck during the newscast when Sawyer's death was broadcast. I can remember the impact that it had on me when I first read the script. Our pastor did a great job after the play of sharing the gospel and relating it to second chances (which are available until death).
We have already been perusing your site looking for Easter plays. Thank you again!
Tim Pau, Warner Avenue Baptist Church, Huntington Beach, CA
Thank you so much for the script, Second Chances! I really appreciate how you let me read through it before purchasing it. Everyone liked the script a lot; some of the teens made some really positive comments about its message and impact. We are excited about doing it and praying that it will help unbelievers who are in church for our special Christmas service examine their lives and the claims of the Gospel. I enjoyed hearing your evident enthusiasm for God and for using your writing to glorify Him and teach His Word. I look forward to buying and using more of your scripts in the future. The Lord knew I needed some kind and friendly words (as well as a good yet affordable Christmas drama) and used you to provide them. Thanks for being His instrument. Stay strong in the Lord,
Paulette Cross, Lowville, NY
Snowbound
Warren. I just wanted to let you know the play we did- Snowbound -was great. Everything went well and the most important thing that happened was a 13 yr old girl gave her life to Jesus. Thank You for your ministry. You've touched lives clear across the US. Thanks again and May God Bless You, your wife, and your ministry.
Teresa Rock, First Church of the Nazarene, Claremont, NH
Soup Of The Day
The download went very well. We are using this script in a Valentine's Day Banquet that our youth group puts on every year. We usually have a pretty good crowd, and like to come up with something to entertain them. Your script "Soup of the Day" is perfect. I will e-mail you again after we perform it and let you know how it went. Thank you so much! In Christ's Love Always,
Amy Powell, First General Baptist Church of Heber Springs, Heber Springs, AR
Survival!
Warren, AWESOME! Fantastic! Four-Star all the way! I am so impressed...it is one of the best I've ever seen from anybody. I love your work! What a gift for writing dialogue to give great substance to terrific ideas. In my opinion, both The Journey and Survival are tops. You can't get any better (at least I think). You are giving real depth to the characters and really giving a distinctiveness to each personality. It is just what I wanted. And you have already made the gospel message so clear--crystal clear. It has all the markings of ONE BIG AND VERY POWERFUL play. Your play has great suspense, a thriller environment, great character development, and realism to it as well. Very creative and clever ending. You might think I rate every play as terrific, but that's not true. In fact, since our plays have been gaining popularity over the years, I have become much more picky about scripts. The play is a masterpiece!
Bill Rodebaugh, Pastor of Landmark Baptist Church, Greenville, NC.
I highly recommend SURVIVAL and THIS IS THE DAY. Both of these plays are cleverly written. "This is the day" is very funny with a serious message for all ages while "Survival" is a serious play that speaks to the end times.

Thankful For Ice Cream
I just wanted to say thank you for doing what you do. It takes a lot of time and talent. We performed the Thanksgiving skit "Thankful for Ice Cream" for the congregation. Now, I will admit that I had to cut out some of it as it had too many roles for my core group of youth. However, the message still came across loud and clear. I used spot lights to single out each scene. Actually they were photographers lights that worked just as well and were much easier to manipulate. It was awesome. The kids were totally amazing. I'm sure I will be in touch in the future and will be willing to purchase more skits as needed.
